This week

It's been busy! Don's birthday was on Thursday, and we had a combined birthday/Day of the dead celebration.

Monday night Don, Chek and I prepared the sugar skulls.

Then we made lots of tamales, beans, and various salsas and had a party. There are pictures here.

I also finished the pinwheel blanket I've been working on this month. I gave it to our CSA farmers who are expecting a new baby any time now! I thought it turned out pretty cute with it's picot bind-off.

For next week I'm trying hard to finish a tiny bit of sewing and get a couple of knitting projects started before we head to New York for a week. Then it's home and time to prepare the Thanksgiving feast!
